MG Red Shift Injection Cleaner Benzine is a fuel additive that improves the performance of petrol engines. It cleans injectors and valves, lubricates fuel system components, prevents deposit build-up and protects against wear. Suitable for all types of petrol.

Over thousands of kilometres, injector nozzles gradually coke up and the fuel spray pattern deteriorates. The engine still runs – but combustion gets less complete, consumption creeps up and throttle response dulls. One 250 ml can added before refuelling treats up to 60 litres of fuel and restores the injection system to proper working order.

How it works

The detergent formulation, based on carefully selected hydrocarbon carriers, mixes with the fuel and travels through the entire fuel system – pump, lines, injectors, valves and combustion chambers. It dissolves gum, varnish and carbon deposits where they form, and the residues are burned off harmlessly during normal driving. No dismantling, no workshop visit – the cleaning happens while you drive.

• Add the product to the fuel tank before refuelling
• Dosage: 250 ml treats up to 60 litres of fuel
• For best results, repeat every few thousand kilometres or whenever performance drops
