MG Red Shift Injection Cleaner Diesel is a fuel additive that improves the performance of Common Rail diesel engines. It lubricates injectors, prevents deposit build-up and protects the fuel injection system. Suitable for all diesel fuels.

Common Rail injectors work at enormous pressures with tolerances measured in microns – and today’s low-sulphur diesel gives them far less natural lubrication than fuels of the past. Deposits on the nozzles disturb the spray pattern, causing hard cold starts, nailing, smoke and rising consumption. One 250 ml can added before refuelling treats up to 60 litres of fuel and keeps the injection system clean and lubricated.

How it works

The formulation, based on carefully selected hydrocarbon carriers, mixes with the fuel and travels through the entire injection system – pump, rail, injectors and combustion chambers. Detergent components dissolve gum and carbon deposits where they form, while the lubricating fraction builds a protective film on precision surfaces. The residues are burned off harmlessly during normal driving – no dismantling, no workshop visit.

Directions for use

• Add the product to the fuel tank before refuelling
• Dosage: one 250 ml bottle treats up to 60 litres of fuel
• For best results, repeat every few thousand kilometres or whenever performance drops
