A complete engine service in one box

Fresh oil poured into a sludgy engine starts with ballast: old deposits dissolve into it within the first few kilometres. And when the injectors are coked, even the best oil does not fix fuel consumption. MG Red Shift Car SPA Premium Benzine puts three products together in the order you actually use them during an oil change.

You do not have to pick additives or work out what goes in when. Open the box and follow three steps: the lubrication system is cleaned out, the fresh oil gets its additive, and the injection system stays clean.

Three steps, one oil change

1. Before the oil change: Engine Flush. Add it to the old oil and let the engine idle for 15–20 minutes. The deposits stay in suspension and leave the engine with the used oil.
2. During the oil change: oil and Engine 300 ml. Drain the oil, replace the oil filter, pour in fresh oil and add the whole bottle of MG Red Shift Engine 300 ml (treats up to 5 litres of oil).
3. Over your next two fill-ups: Injection Cleaner Benzine, two cans. Pour one 250 ml can into the tank before refuelling and the second one at the following fill-up. Each can covers 60 litres of fuel and works while you drive normally.

Engine oil and an oil filter are not included. You need them for step 2.

Why the Benzine version: clean injectors and valves

Over thousands of kilometres injector nozzles gradually coke up and the fuel spray loses its shape. The engine keeps running, but combustion gets less complete, fuel consumption rises and throttle response turns sluggish. Injection Cleaner Benzine dissolves deposits on injectors and intake valves, while Flush and Engine give the lubrication system a clean start and protection at the oil change.

What is in the kit

• MG Red Shift Engine Flush 500 ml – lubrication system flush, enough for 10 litres of oil
• MG Red Shift Engine 300 ml – engine oil additive, for up to 5 litres of oil
• 2 × MG Red Shift Injection Cleaner Benzine 250 ml – cleans injectors and valves, for 60 litres of fuel (each can)

Two cans treat 120 litres of fuel in total. The kit costs less than the same products bought separately.

Premium or standard Car SPA?

Car SPA Premium is the standard kit plus a second Injection Cleaner Benzine. Choose it if you want to treat two fill-ups in a row, if you drive mostly short trips, or if you are buying a gift and want a more generous set. If one can is enough for you, take MG Red Shift Car SPA Benzine.

Will it fit your engine?

The kit is designed for petrol engines holding up to 5 litres of oil, which is one bottle of Engine 300 ml. If your engine takes more oil, add one extra bottle of Engine per 5 litres; Engine also comes in 500 ml and 1 l bottles.
